The Golden State Warriors signed four new players to their team on Wednesday, reports Marc Spears of Yahoo Sports. They are guard Carlon Brown, guard/forward Lance Goulbourne, forward Rick Jackson & guard/forward Tarence Kinsey. Here's a little background on each of these players.
Brown was a 6-5, 215 pound guard from the University of Colorado who helped the Buffs get to the NCAA Tournament with excellent performances in winning the Pac-12 tourney. Brown averaged over 15 points per game over a four game period and averaged 12.6 points per game to lead the team in scoring during his senior campaign.
Goulbourne is a 6-8, 230 pound guard/forward from Vanderbilt who averaged 8.7 points and 6.9 rebounds per game in his senior season with the Commodores. He has good athleticism at the wing.
Jackson is a 6-9, 240 pound forward from Syracuse who went undrafted last season. He was signed by Chorale Roanne Basket in France and played overseas last season.
Kinsey is a 6-6, 190 pound journeyman guard from South Carolina who has played with the Cavaliers and Grizzlies in the NBA but has mostly played professional basketball overseas in Turkey.
