NBA scores: Warriors keep rolling, Lakers keep up

The Golden State Warriors notched another win on Thursday, while the Lakers answered with a win of their own on Friday.

The Golden State Warriors moved their record to 9-6 with a 106-105 win over the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night. David Lee led the Warriors to the win with 31 points and nine rebounds. Golden State has won four of its last five and is tied for the lead Pacific Division.

The Lakers follow the Warriors and Clippers in third place, and they also beat the Nuggets on Friday night by a score of 122-103. Antawn Jamison surprisingly led Los Angeles with 33 points, while Dwight Howard grabbed 20 rebounds.

Elswhere in the division, the Kings and Suns both fell on Friday night. The Pacers beat Sacramento, 97-92, in Sleep Train Arena. DeMarcus Cousins led the Kings with 19 points and 16 boards in a losing effort.

Phoenix went on the road to Toronto and lost 101-97. The Suns had five different players is double-figures, with Marcin Gortat and Jared Dudley leading the way at 14 points each.
