Andrew Bogut injury: Warriors center will miss three more games

Andrew Bogut continues to strengthen his surgically repaired ankle as the Golden State Warriors center plans to sit out a few more games.

The Warrriors.com site is reporting that Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut will not be playing any of the next three games as he continues to try and heal his surgically-repaired left ankle. Bogut has spent a few days in Los Angeles this past week, where he was being treated by Dr. Richard Frenkel. Bogut has already missed the past six games so far this season due to weakness in his left ankle following his April 27th surgery.

There are a few things that appear to be in the tea leaves for Bogut. He plans to run on the AlterG treadmill later in the week, then will return to try and see if he can practice with the team next Monday. Until he's certain that he can actually produce and be as effective as possible with the ankle, he'll probably try and heal up before trying to take the court.
