The Golden State Warriors held on to beat the Atlanta Hawks 92-88 at home in Oracle. The Warriors improved to 4-4 on the regular season, while the Hawks fall to 3-4.
The Warriors outrebounded the Hawks 43 to 29 but had to overcome 23 turnovers to secure victory. The Warriors shot 46.5% from the field compared to 43.6% for the Hawks while also shooting 84% from the free throw line.
Golden State was led by Harrison Barnes with 19 points and 13 rebounds, while David Lee contributed 18 points, 10 boards and five assists. Stephen Curry put in 12 points and seven assists while Richard Jefferson and Carl Landry each added ten points off the bench.
For the Hawks, Lou Williams led Atlanta with 18 points and six assists off the bench. Josh Smith finished with 16 points on 6-16 shooting while also grabbing ten rebounds. Kyle Korver had 14 points on 5-6 shooting.
