Warriors holding open practice Oct. 13

The Golden State Warriors will open their doors to the public for practice on October 13.

The Golden State Warriors announced on Thursday that they will be holding an open practice on Oct. 13 at Oracle Arena for fans to get a glimpse of the new look W's before the start of the season.

Parking and admission to the event is free for all, with doors opening up at 10 a.m. PT. Only limited concessions will be available for the event.

It will be many's first chance to see some of this year's fresh faces like Harrison Barnes and Andrew Bogut, while Mark Jackson's coaching style will be on display in person as he will run team drills then have a intra-squad scrimmage. In previous years during this event, the coach has had a microphone for those in attendance to hear what he has to say to his players.

Golden State begins it's preseason schedule at Oralce Arena a few days prior with matchups with the Utah Jazz on Oct. 8 and Israel's Maccabi Haifa on Oct. 11. Both of those games are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. PT.
