The regular season is over and it is officially bowl season. Teams are waiting to hear the final BCS standings on Sunday night on ESPN to see which teams will go to the BCS bowl games and which ones will head to the other big bowl games. One matchup that will happen is the Stanford Cardinal facing the Wisconsin Badgers on Jan. 1 in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif.

The Cardinal won the Pac-12 championship and the Badgers surprised the football world by knocking off the Nebraska Cornhuskers to steal the Big 10 title. Both teams are known for performing well in recent years in their respective bowl games, so the Rose should get a show, even if these aren't the two teams many expected would be here when the season first started. CBS Sports, SB Nation and USA Today all have this matchup in their final BCS projections.

SB Nation and CBS Sports also agree on where both the San Jose St. Spartans and Fresno St. Bulldogs will end up during bowl season. The Spartans are projected to play against the Ohio Bobcats in the Military Bowl on Dec. 27 in Washington D.C. Both sites have the Bulldogs headed to the Hawaii Bowl on Dec. 24 in Honolulu to face the SMU Mustangs.
