2012 College Football Rankings: Stanford slips in BlogPoll despite victory

After rolling over the Colorado Buffaloes 48-0 on Saturday, the Stanford Cardinal slipped a spot in the SB Nation BlogPoll and finds itself at No. 16. The voters picked Stanford as high as No. 9 and as low as No. 22.

The Cardinal will have opportunities to move up this week when the Oregon State Beavers visit Palo Alto, Calif. Next week, David Shaw's squad visits the Oregon Ducks in Eugene. Both games will be critical in the bowl game scenarios for the three Pac-12 North squads.

The Beavers sit just three spots ahead of the Cardinal at No. 13 and didn't budge from last week's BlogPoll standings.

The Ducks moved into the No. 2 spot in the BlogPoll, jumping the Kansas State Wildcats thanks to a victory over the USC Trojans this week. Oregon beat USC 62-51 and the win also dropped USC three spots in the standings to No. 21.
