Following their huge 17-14 overtime win over the then-No. 2 Oregon Ducks on Saturday, the Stanford Cardinal gained considerable ground in the SB Nation BlogPoll Top 25.
The Cardinal (9-2, 7-1 Pac 12) received 16.41 votes per blog and jumped four spots to No. 10 in this week's poll. Stanford was voted as high as No. 5 by four blogs, and was voted as low as No. 14 by three blogs. Oregon fell two spots to No. 3 in this week's poll following the Cardinal upset.
Also receiving votes this week were the San Jose St. Spartans and the Fresno St. Bulldogs, although neither team received enough votes to crack the top 25.
Stanford will wrap up their regular season schedule with another stiff test as they head to the Rose Bowl to battle the No. 15 UCLA Bruins (9-2, 6-2 Pac 12). Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m. PT and the game will be televised on FOX.
