College Football 2012 Schedule: Stanford visits Oregon in key Pac-12 battle

Both Bay Area Pac-12 schools make trips to the state of Oregon on Saturday, while San Jose State gets a major test.

The Stanford Cardinal visit the Oregon Ducks with the Pac-12 North division title on the line as part of Saturday's college football schedule. Stanford is facing the Ducks with a chance to control their Rose Bowl destiny for the third-straight year, and the Cardinal have come up short on their previous two attempts.

Stanford has just one Pac-12 loss, and would be guaranteed a spot in the Pac-12 championship game if they win out. Oregon can clinch the division by beating the Cardinal on Saturday.

Cal also heads north to face the Oregon State Beavers. The Golden Bears are playing for pride in their last game of the season. The Beavers have been the conference's most surprising team, and are ranked 15th after an 8-2 start.

San Jose State guns for its ninth win when it hosts BYU at Spartan Stadium on Saturday. The Spartans are on a four-game winning streak and still have a shot at a double-digit win total.

The Ducks and Cardinal won't be the only game with Pac-12 title implications on Saturday, as USC and UCLA square off for the South division title.
