Stanford has climbed to No. 13 in the BCS rankings after defeating Oregon State, 27-23, on Saturday. The win was Stanford's fourth in a row and jumped them one spot up from No. 14 in the Week 11 standings.
The Cardinal is 8-2 on the season overall, 6-1 in the Pac-12, and still has a chance to represent the conference in the Rose Bowl, according to Scott Allen of the Rule of Tree.
Stanford trails Oregon by one game and will travel on the road to play the Ducks this Saturday. A Cardinal win will catapult them to first place in the Pac-12 North standings and put them control of their own destiny for the rest of the season. Oregon is a perfect 10-0 on the year and 7-0 in conference play.
Oregon is ranked first in the AP poll and second in the BCS standings this week.
