College football rankings, Week 7: Stanford moves to No. 17

The Stanford Cardinal moved up one spot in the Week 7 AP Top 25 poll.

After their overtime victory over the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday, the Stanford Cardinal remained inside the AP Top 25 for Week 7, along with a number of their fellow Pac-12 counterparts.

The Cards' 54-48 victory on Saturday boosted them one spot this week, up to No. 17 in the country. Alabama retained the top spot, while the Oregon Ducks stayed at No. 2 in the land, followed by South Carolina, Florida and West Virginia to round out the top five.

Oregon State at No. 10 and the USC Trojans at No. 11 are the other two Pac-12 schools making the grade this week. Arizona State, Washington and Arizona all received votes.
