The Stanford Cardinal and Arizona Wildcats enter this weekend's matchup at a crossroads. The Cardinal were flying high after defeating USC and in-turn earned a top 10 ranking, but they came crashing down following an upset loss to Washington last week. The Wildcats were 3-0 and nationally ranked when no one expected them to even make a bowl game in 2012, and now they've lost back-to-back weeks against Oregon and Oregon State.
With both teams currently in the midst of a brutal couple of weeks, it will be interesting to see how they respond. Quarterbacks Matt Scott and Josh Nunes have been a bit erratic this season, and whichever one has the better day will likely be on the winning side of the ball game.
Game time, TV channel: 3 p.m. ET, FOX
Point spread: Stanford opened as 12-point favorites, but the line has since dropped to nine.
