In what will be one of this weekend's most anticipated games, the Stanford Cardinal are traveling to South Bend to take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. ESPN's College Game Day will be in attendance, and with both teams currently ranked in the top 20 there are sure to be plenty of fireworks on Saturday afternoon.

The Cardinal struggled offensively early in the year, but quarterback Josh Nunes finally had a breakout game last week as he hung 54 points on Arizona. The Irish feature one of the best defenses in the nation, and it'll be up to senior tailback Stepfan Taylor to stay ahead of the chains for Stanford.

The Irish entered the year with high expectations and they have delivered so far. The team is a perfect 5-0 and is currently ranked No. 7 in the land. Their aforementioned defense is allowing a little more than a touchdown per game (7.8) and they rank among the best in college football at forcing turnovers.

Game time, TV channel: 3:30 p.m. ET, NBC

Point spread: Notre Dame opened as seven-point favorites and that line has held throughout the week. The over/under is at 42 1/2 or 43.
