Stanford vs. USF Men's Basketball Opens Regular Season At Oracle Arena

The Stanford Cardinal men's basketball team are fresh off their NIT victory, while the USF Dons also had themselves a good 2011-12 campaign. Now they will take on one another to begin their 2012-13 season when they lock horns on November 9 at Oracle Arena.
This neutral site extravaganza marks the first time the two teams have played against each other in seven years. When these two last met way back when on November 23, 2005 at Maples Pavilion, Stanford stomped the Dons by the score of 71-56 behind a team-high 21 points from Alan Wiggins.

Tickets for the event will be sold throughout the lower bowl of Oracle Arena, including $50 for courtside seats, $25 for premium seating, and $15 for reserved tickets. Student tickets will be sold for $10 apiece but a valid student ID card must be presented. For groups of 15 or more, tickets will be sold for $12 each.

Tip off is set for 7:00 p.m. (subject to change) while television broadcast still TBD.
