2012 Pac-12 Standings: Stanford Vs. Cal Has First-Seed Implications

The Stanford Cardinal will head into the final game of the regular season hoping to play the role of the spoiler. They'll be looking to add another win to their record in front of their home crowd, of course, but they'll enter their game against the California Golden Bears knowing that the visitors have a No. 1 seed on their mind and within their sights.

If the Cardinal manage to pull of the upset and send the Bears packing, the Washington Huskies will clinch the No. 1 seed in next week's Pac-12 tournament. The Golden Bears would then enter as the No. 2 seed, followed by the Oregon Ducks at No. 3 and the Arizona Wildcats at No. 4.

The Cardinals, of course, will enter the tourney in the No. 7 position regardless of the outcome of the game.
