The Nevada Wolf Pack have been a tough victory for almost every team they faced this season, but came out flat and never recovered against the Stanford Cardinal Wednesday night in the quarterfinal of the 2012 NIT Tournament at Maples Pavilion. But the Card can out ready, and with a well-balanced offensive attack and stout defense the Cardinal are heading to Madison Square Garden with their 84-56 victory.

Stanford began with a 5-0 lead and never looked back, shooting 53 percent as team with eight players scoring eight points or better. Josh Owens and Chasson Randle each dropped 15 apiece, while Josh Huestis 12 and Aaron Bright 10.

As for the Wolf Pack, their trio of Malik Story, Deonte Burton and Olek Czyz were essentially their entire offensive tonight, combining for 38 of the teams 56 points shooting only 38.8 percent along with 14 turnovers.
