The 2012 Women's NCAA Tournament kicked off its Round of 64 on Saturday. Play continues into Sunday, which is when No. 8 seed California Golden Bears will take on No. 9 Iowa Hawkeyes. One of the Bay Area teams has already played in the opening round, as No. 1 seed in the Fresno Region Stanford Cardinal defeated No. 16 Hampton to advance to the next round, where they will face off against No. 8 West Virginia Mountaineers on Monday.
Cal's game on Sunday tips off at 12:10 p.m. EDT. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2.
