NIT Tournament 2012 Schedule And Bracket: Stanford Plays On Monday

The Stanford Cardinal may have missed out on the 2012 NCAA Tournament, but they're currently the only Bay Area team still in contention to win a basketball championship. The 2012 NIT is underway and the Cardinal have advanced to the second round, which has been staggered out over several days.

The Washington Huskies have already advanced by defeating the Northwestern Wildcats on Friday night. On Saturday, the Seton Hall Pirates were upset by the Massachusetts Minutemen, proving that the NIT is not without the aspect of unpredictability that makes the NCAA Tournament so watchable.
