The Stanford Cardinals men's basketball team has now lost four of their last five games as they were defeated by the Arizona Wildcats on the road in Maples Pavilion on Saturday afternoon by a score of 56-43. The Cardinals now have a 16-7 record and are 6-5 in the PAC-12, which puts them in sixth place in the conference. Meanwhile, Arizona has a 16-8 record and are 7-4 in the PAC-12, which is good enough for fifth place.
The Cardinals were led by senior forward Josh Owens, sophomore guard Aaron Bright and freshman guard Chasson Randle, who each scored 10 points. Every other player on the rest of the team was held under eight points. As for the Wildcats, they were led by senior guard Kyle Fogg, who scored 14 points, senior forward Jesse Perry, who scored 11 and junior forward Solomon Hill and freshman guard Nick Johnson, who each scored 10.
The Cardinals will look to bounce back from the loss on the road against UCLA on Thursday evening at 8 p.m. The Wildcats will look to win their third game in a row at home against Colorado on Thursday evening at 6 p.m.
