Stanford Vs. Arizona State: Card Shellac Sun Devils 68-44 Behind Aaron Bright's 16

The Stanford Cardinal were facing the Arizona State Sun Devils for the only time this season at Maples Pavilion, and were looking to end their recent losing streak. And behind Aaron Bright’s 16 points and Chasson Randle’s 14. the Card stomped Arizona State 68-44 to get back on track.

Anthony Brown dropped 11 points for the Cardinal (16-6, 6-4), which continued their great play at home, moving to to 12-1 at Maples Pavilion this season. They also finally shook a three-game losing streak that seemed much longer than that.

As for the Sun Devils (7-15, 3-7 Pac-12) they had a very rough game tying ASU’s lowest mark in Herb Sendek’s six years as coach with measly four assists on the night. They also shot 34 percent from the floor. The worst stretch was from 9:52 of the first half to the 12:51 mark of the second, when Arizona State completed only 1 of their 17 in that span, committing 10 turnovers in the process.

Jordan Bachynski led the Sun Devils with a career-high 20 points. Leading scorer Trent Lockett missed his fifth straight now with an ankle injury.
