Stanford Vs. USC: Cardinal Cruise to 59-47 Victory Over Trojans

After a low scoring, hard fought first half between the Stanford Cardinal and USC Trojans at the Galen Center Sunday afternoon, the Trojans once again couldn’t get it done down the stretch, losing their 13th of their last 14 games as the Cardinal cruised to a 59-47 victory.

Chasson Randle and Josh Owens led the way for Stanford (17-8, 7-6 Pac-12) scoring 16 and 15 respectfully while Jarret Mann dropped eight. Andrew Zimmerman added seven as well for the Card, who’ve had some bad luck of their own lately after losing five of their last six matchups.

on the Trojans side of things, Byron Wesley and Greg Allen were the top players for USC (6-20, 1-12 Pac-12) each scoring 13 apiece, while Maurice Jones added 10.

The Cardinal new head home for a matchup with the Oregon State Beavers on Thursday at Maples Pavilion, with only six games left in the regular season.
