Stanford officially lost two of their starting offensive linemen to the NFL today, as ESPN's Joe Schad reported that both Jonathan Martin and David DeCastro have declared their intentions to go pro. Martin was the first to officially declare and DeCastro was soon to follow.
Martin told ESPN that the biggest thing he'll bring to the NFL is, "Hard work. I pride myself on competing to be the hardest worker on the field." Schad added that G DeCastro, at 6-4.5/310, said he'll try to emulate All-Pros like Alan Faneca and Steve Hutchinson.
With Stanford's DeCastro, Martin, and (unofficially) Andrew Luck recently declaring their intentions to go pro, OLB Chase Thomas is now officially the one to watch, as he mulls over his decision to stay in school or declare for the draft.
