Stanford vs. NC State, Final Score: Cardinal Rally in Second Half To Top Wolfpack 76-72

The Stanford Cardinal found themselves down big to the North Carolina State Wolfpack Sunday afternoon at Maples Pavilion in Palo Alto, but rallied late to steal the victory by the score of 76-72.

Josh Owens scored 19 points while Chasson Randle added 16 to help rally the Card from a a 12-point deficit in the second half, leading the charge on a 17-1 run in the final six minutes of play that push Stanford (8-1) ahead for the first and final time of the game. Owens scored 10 points during the run, Randle dropped four free throws, and the Card remain perfect at home this season.

C.J. Williams had 18 points to lead the Wolfpack (5-3), while C.J. Leslie added 14, though the Wolfpack blew double-digt leads in both halves of the game. North Carolina State extended their winless streak against Pac-12 opponents on the road, who now haven’t beaten one in the last 18 years.
