The Stanford Cardinal hosted the San Diego Toreros on Saturday night. The Stanford men's team remained perfect at home, improving to 6-0 in Stanford and 9-1 overall with a dominating 75-55 win.
Stanford passed the ball around and gave the entire team a chance to contribute in Saturday's game. All players but one who saw floor time in the game recorded a rebound and all players but two scored a point. Josh Owens led scorers with 17 points. Chasson Randle picked up 15 points and Anthony Brown scored nine.
Stanford shot 56.6 percent in the second half. The team is off to its strongest start since 2008-09. If the keep continues playing at this level, it will be difficult to justify excluding them from the Top 25 for much longer.
The Cardinal will hit the road next to take on the South Alabama Jaguars. That game will be on Thursday, December 22.
