The running joke for the 2011 NFL season has been that the Indianapolis Colts are so fixating on securing the number one draft pick next year that they are ready and willing to tank every single game if they have to. Seeing as how the ultimate prize at stake is most likely Stanford Cardinal quarterback Andrew Luck, it's easy to see why the Colts are going above and beyond. Long after they've secured their spot as worst team in the league and guaranteed the No. 1 overall pick, they've gone right on being awful. Will they win a game? Who knows? We can tell that Luck is excited about heading to the Midwest next year. So excited, in fact, that he was willing to give us a glimpse into the future on Friday evening.

Yes, that's Luck, second from the right, just standing around in front of the fireplace for a family portrait while wearing a Colts jersey. The Luck clan is just so proud of their giant framed portrait of "The Color White."
Just kidding! This picture is actually from an award presentation in Baltimore on Friday. Luck went to the Baltimore Sports Legends Museum with his father, Oliver, where he was presented with the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award. That's a Baltimore Colts Unitas jersey that Luck is sporting. Pictured, from left to right, are Johnny Unitas Jr., Colts legend Raymond Berry, Andrew Luck, and Oliver Luck.
It's an odd bit of kismet that Luck won this award when pretty much everyone knows that he's Colts-bound. Still, we're going to have to get used to seeing him in a new uniform, so it's probably for the best to get an early start. As much as it pains me to say it, he looks a lot better in blue than in Cardinal red.
