ESPN College Gameday Headed To Stanford Vs. Oregon In Palo Alto

Unsurprisingly, College Gameday will be taking a trip to Stanford University this weekend. After the Game of the Century in Tuscaloosa, they'll be headed to the Second Game of the Century in Palo Alto when the Stanford Cardinal take on the Oregon Ducks. This'll be the first time Palo Alto will be featured on ESPN's College Gameday.

Considering the sad state of the Pac-12 South, Stanford and Oregon could be playing for what amounts to the Pac-12 title next Saturday night, with the winner almost certainly clinching the Pac-12 North and the right to host the inaugural Pac-12 Championship game. Both the Cardinal and Ducks still have aspirations higher than just winning the Pac-12 and getting to Pasadena. They'd like to win out and get some help to get to the BCS National Championship Game, which could very well happen if Oklahoma State and/or LSU trip up somewhere down the line. They'll get the chance as they both share the spotlight next Saturday.
