Stanford vs. UC Davis Final Score: Cardinal Rout Aggies With 70-49 Road Victory

The last time the Stanford Cardinal took on UC Davis at the Pavilion was 2005, and the Aggies managed a stunning upset. That wasn’t in the cards this Friday night as the Cardinal rolled the Aggies in their first road game of the season by the score of 70-49.

Stanford (4-0) got out to a comfortable first half lead, then took off on a second half run and never looked back. It was another team effort as well as sophomore Anthony Brown led the way with 14 points and six rebounds, while Dwight Powell dropped 13 points and three boards. Senior Josh Owens added 10, while Jarret Mann had a team high seven boards along with five points. The Card shot over 50% from the field on the night, as well as a respectable 35% from downtown.

Josh Ritchart scored a team high 19 points and five rebounds for UC Davis (1-4), who became the fourth straight team to be held under 60 points this season by Stanford.
