Colorado Vs. Stanford Score Update: Stanford Holds 27-7 Lead At Half

Stanford appears to be having little trouble against the Colorado Buffaloes, heading into halftime with a 20-point lead over the unranked team.

Colorado scored early in the second quarter, as Tyler Hansen completed a 5-yard touchdown pass to Tony Jones which cut the Cardinal lead to 13-7.

After that, however, Stanford piled on. Quarterback Andrew Luck led the Cardinal to Colorado's 30-yard line before throwing an interception, but Colorado went three-and-out immediately. Jeremy Stewart capped off a Stanford drive with a touchdown run, and Colorado was forced to punt on their next possession.

Luck then led yet another scoring drive, which culminated in his first touchdown pass of the game to put the Cardinal up 27-7. They would hold onto that lead for the remainder of the second quarter, and are in good shape heading into halftime. Head coach David Shaw has to be pleased with the way things are looking thus far.
