San Jose Sharks players Logan Couture and Joe Thornton made their way over to Switzerland and the National League A for the lockout, but not as teammates.
Couture plays for the first place GE Servette contributing 3 goals, 7 assists and a plus-6 in 10 games. GE Servette takes on the second place HC FR Gotteron. Gotteron is one of two Swiss teams devoid of NHL players.
Thornton spent the previous lockout in Switzerland and liked it so much, he came back. On HC Davos, Thornton and Rick Nash have become quite the scoring tandem, despite Nash's shoulder injury.
