Heading into Saturday night's regular-season finale, the San Jose Sharks and the Los Angeles Kings now know where they stand. The Phoenix Coyotes have clinched the Pacific Division title and the No. 3 seed in the Western Division for the NHL Playoffs. The Kings and Sharks will now be playing to see who will become the No. 7 seed and who will become the No. 8 seed in the postseason. The loser of Saturday night's game at the Shark Tank will wind up on the bottom
Phoenix wasted no time in their road game against the Minnesota Wild on Saturday, jumping out to an early lead and never looking back en route to a 4-1 win. Their improbable turnaround from the beginning of the season has netted them a shiny new Pacific Division title.
