Sharks Schedule 2011: Sharks Host Ducks, Canucks This Week

The Sharks will finish up a six-game homestand in the coming week. They'll take on a struggling division rival and a formidable second-place team.

The San Jose Sharks celebrate the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve by closing out their six-game homestand. This recent run of games at the Shark Tank has been mighty good for the home team, as they've won four in a row and now sit atop the Pacific Division, tied with the Dallas Stars at 41 points.

This coming week, they'll have an opportunity to add some more points and maybe separate themselves from the Stars. First up, they'll host possibly the worst team in the NHL. The division rival Anaheim Ducks will come to town, boasting a woeful 9-19-6 record. They're dead last in the Pacific Division with 24 points. That game will take place at 7:30 PM PST on Monday, December 26. The game is scheduled to air on CSN-CA.

Next up, the Sharks will take on a strong Vancouver Canucks team. The Canucks are 21-12-2 and are 7-2-1 over their last 10 games. They hold 44 points are are currently sitting just one point behind the Minnesota Wild in the Northwest Division. That game takes place on Wednesday, December 28 at 7:30 PM PST and airs on CSN-CA and TSN.
