Sharks Schedule: San Jose Will Host Lightning, Kings This Week

The San Jose Sharks are tied for first place in their division and looking to create some distance between themselves and the rest of the field. This week, they will host the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Los Angeles Kings.

The San Jose Sharks are beginning to right the ship following a shaky couple of weeks. They've won two in a row and are now tied atop the Pacific Division with the Dallas Stars with 37 points. They're hoping to open up a lead in a fairly weak division and have a good shot at doing just that in the week before Christmas, as they continue a big six-game home stand.

First up, they'll host the Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday, December 21. The Lightning hold a 14-16-2 record and fourth place in the Southeast Division. The puck will drop at 7:30 PM PST on Wednesday night, with the game set to air on CSN-CA.

On Friday, December 23, division rivals the Los Angeles Kings will come to town. The Kings have fallen off drastically after a red-hot start to the season and are currently in fourth place with a 14-14-4 record and 34 points. A win here will allow the Sharks to gain some ground on at least one of their divisional foes. This game is also scheduled for 7:30 PM PST at the Shark Tank and set to air on CSN-CA.
