San Jose, CA (Sports Network) - Dany Heatley scored twice and added an assist, as the San Jose Sharksstayed hot with a 5-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks at HP Pavilion.
Joe Thornton had three assists for the Sharks, who have won four of their last five games and scored 20 goals in that span. The only loss in the stretch was a 4-0 decision against Calgary.
Antero Niittymaki made 22 saves as San Jose also resumed its dominance of the Ducks -- the Sharks won five of the six matchups last season.
Curtis McElhinney allowed all five goals on 41 shots for the Ducks, who have dropped their last two.
