2012 MLB All-Star Game: Lineup, TV Schedule, Streaming And More

The San Francisco Giants have plenty of representation at the 2012 MLB All-Star Game. The Oakland Athletics? Not so much.

The Giants actually will have plenty of players in action, including four starters. Matt Cain starts the game for the National League after posting a 2.62 ERA and a 9-3 record at the Break, with one of those wins being a perfect game. Buster Posey starts at catcher (batting .289, slugging .458), Pablo Sandoval (batting .307, slugging .500) at third base, and Melky Cabrera (batting .353, slugging .519) goes into the outfield. Cabrera bats second, Posey sixth and Sandoval seventh. The Athletics have one representative in pitcher Ryan Cook, who makes his first All-Star game appearance. Cook has pitched 38 innings in relief, striking out 39 with a WHIP of 0.887.

The game will be telecast on FOX starting at 4:30 PM PT, 7:30 PM ET, and the first pitch should be doled out sometime in the half hour after the game starts. The game will also be televised on ESPN Radio.
