Pablo Sandoval managed to go 1-4 in his rehab assignment Tuesday night with the Fresno Grizzlies, but had to answer a barrage of questions regarding his wrist, his conditioning, and his mental state before the game as he prepares to return to the San Francisco Giants amongst a litany of outside distractions.
Pablo noted that the wrist is feeling good, he feels like he is in a good place with his conditioning, and that the 'heart-to-heart' he had with Bruce Bochy over the weekend only solidified his desire to get back to the game of baseball.
It's looking like the Kung Fu Panda could return sometimes next week, likely after the Texas Rangers series this weekend. Joaquin Arias has been filling in admirably with the glove at third in his absence but can't replace his All-Star level hitting, owning a .316/.375/.537 slash line this season.
