MLB All-Star Voting 2012: Melky Cabrera, Buster Posey, Pablo Sandoval Amongst Top Vote Getters

Though the San Francisco Giants are mostly known for having All-Star caliber pitching, they currently have three position players towards thetop of their respective cateogories in the latest update of All-Star voting,

Melky Cabrera has certainly been getting noticed in and around the Bay for his tremendous efforts, though others around the league may not be giving him his due as his currently is fifth in the NL voting for outfielders with 714,642 votes. Matt Kemp, Carlos Beltran, Ryan Braun and Andre Either are those sitting ahead of him.

Giancarlo Stanton, who won the NL player of the month in May despite Melky's mind-numbing tear he went on, isn't in the top five.

Buster Posey is making a strong push for his first All-Star game, currently sitting in second place amongst NL catchers behindYadier Molina. It's a close on though, with Buster's 1,072,464 votes to Molina's 1,100,048 votes.

Last but not least is Pablo Sandoval, who despite another early season DL stint is fourth amongst NL third basemen with 648,303 votes. and he's dealing with some off-field issue and an uncertain return from the disabled list. David Wright, David Freese and Chipper Jones are sitting ahead of him, and without Bruce Bochy as the skipper for the NL this year Pablo's chances are certainly the slimmest.

Make sure to keep voting for your San Francisco Giants to see them in Kansas City for this year's All-Star game!
