Giants Vs. Dodgers: Tim Lincecum, Chad Billingsley Square Off In Rubber Match

It's hard to say any game in early May is a must win for any ball club, but the San Francisco Giants certainly were in serious need of a W on Tuesday after their all-around beat down at the hands of the Los Angeles Dodgers the day before. Luckily Brett Pill and the G-Men managed to topple Clayton Kershaw (finally) and look to earn a series win on the road Wednesday against their arch rivals.

The Giants will have Tim Lincecum on the bump (2-2, 5.68) looking to build some momentum after stumbling a bit in his last outing, lastin only five innings along with three runs and four walks en route to a 6-4 Brewers victory. Timmy is just 5-4 lifetime against the boys in blue, including a 0-3 record against them in 2011, despite owning a 1.83 ERA and a .234 BAA in five starts versus L.A. last year.

The Dodgers will send out Chad Billingsley (2-2, 3.19) who has two losses in his last three starts. Billingsley is7-5 lifetime against San Francisco with a 3.24 ERA in 24 career games (19 starts) , but went 1-2 with a 6.04 ERA and .303 BAA in four starts against them last season.

First pitch is set for 7:10 pm. PT with coverage on NBC Bay Area and KNBR 680 AM in the Bay Area, while FOX Sports Prime Ticket and 570 Fox Sports L.A. will have coverage down south.
