The San Francisco Giants are just 1-4 this season against the Miami Marlins, a team that is currently playing some of their best baseball of the season. After taking the first game of the series on Thursday, the Giants dropped game two of the four-game series last night with Tim Lincecum on the mound.
Looking to clinch at least a split of the series in Miami, the G-Men will send young Madison Bumgarner to the mound on Saturday afternoon. The Marlins will send veteran southpaw Mark Buehrle to the mound, who has not received a ton of run support in 2012 in his first season with the club.
Here is the Giants lineup for Saturday afternoon's game. First pitch is set for 1:10 p.m. PT.
Gregor Blanco RF
Ryan Theriot 2B
Melky Cabrera LF
Buster Posey C
Angel Pagan CF
Brett Pill 1B
Joaquin Arias 3B
Emmanuel Burriss SS
Madison Bumgarner P
The game will be televised live by CSN Bay Area and can be heard on the radio through KNBR 680.
