The San Francisco Giants could use the solid bat and steady glove of Pablo Sandoval back in their lineup, and may be getting their Kung Fu Panda back sooner than later.
Sandoval tweeted on Wednesday that he took some swings off a tee, about 25 to be exact, and felt no pain. That was his first time playing t-ball since suffering his broken hamate bone in his left hand at the beginning of May, a great sign that he is on the road to recovery.
He will still has some rehab to finish before heading down to Fresno for a minor league rehab assignment, but it's looking more and more likely that he'll be ready to rejoin the Giants in the next two to three weeks.
Before landing on the DL Pablo was hitting .316 with five dingers and 15 RBI this season.
