Giants Vs. Brewers: Matt Cain Eyes Another Victory In Game 2

The San Francisco Giants hung on for the extra-innings W on Monday against the Milwaukee Brewers, and look to take control of the series on Tuesday as Matt Cain takes the bump for the Black and Orange.

Cain (3-2 2.67) gave up a season-high eight hits to the Cardinals, allowing four runs along the way. However, the Giants provided him with some rare run support to secure his third win. Cain ins 61-9 lifetime when the Giants score him three or more runs.

As for Marcum (2-2 3.31) he left early is his last outing after tweaking an oblique, but feels good enough to give it a go on Tuesday. He gave up four runs in five innings against the Astros, throwing 91 pitches before departing.

First pitch is set for 5:10 p.m. PT with coverage on CSN Bay Area and KNBR 680 AM in the Bay Area and Fox Sports Wisconsin and WTMJ 620 in the Milwaukee area.
