Giants Vs. Rockies: Giants Turn To Tim Lincecum For Fourth Straight Victory

The San Francisco Giants are in a bit of a groove after their come-from-behind victory at AT&T PArk Monday night against the Colorado Rockies, and now look to sweep the Rox on Tuesday for their fourth win in a row.

Tim Lincecum (2-3 5.89) keeps showing signs of his former self but is yet to put it all together. He departed after five innings in Los Angeles in his last sart after starting strong, leaving with four runs, eight hits and eight strikeouts to his name.

Colorado will send out Jeremy Guthrie (2-1 5.92), who is returning from the DL after a right shoulder sprain from a bicycle accident back on April 28. He tossed four scoreless innings for Triple-A Modesto on Thursday.

Colorado will likely be without Troy Tulowitzki tonight after he took a foul ball of his knee while standing on the dugout steps waiting for his at bat in last night's game. X-rays taken of the knee were negative.

After tonight's game these two rivals won't meet again until August, when they'll have 13 meetings with one another over the last two months of the season.

First pitch is set for 7:15 pm PT with coverage on CSN Bay Area and KNBR 680 AM.
