Giants Vs. Rockies: Melky Cabrera, G-Men Look To Stay Hot Against Colorado

The San Francisco Giants return to AT&T Park with a bit of a hot streak going, hoping to keep that fire burning against the Colorado Rockies Monday night.

Ryan Vogelsong (1-2 2.94) finally earned his first win in his last outing, taking out the Dodgers with 7.1 innings of work of one-run ball despite eight hits and three walks. He'll return to AT&T looking to start a streak of his own. He got a cortisone shot in his back recently which was tabbed as a 'maintenance' procedure, though will be something to keep in mind going forward with him.

The Rockies will send out youngster Christian Friedrich (1-0 1.50) making his second MLB start of his career. He took the W in his last outing against San Diego, going six innings of one-run ball along with seven strikeouts.

The story heading into this series is Melky Cabrera and his tear he's been on as of late. Over his last 11 games Melky is batting 468 (22-for-47) along with two doubles, three triples, a home run and six RBIs. Let's hope that continues this evening.

Tonight will also mark the 100th consecutive sellout at AT&T Park, so way to go Giants fans!

First pitch is set for 7:15 p.m. PT with coverage on CSN Bay Area and KNBR 680 AM.
