Giants Vs. D-Backs: Barry Zito Takes Bump In Rubber Match

The San Francisco Giants finally ended their drought at Chase Field Saturday night against the Arizona Diamondbacks, and now look for another win in Sunday's rubber match before returning home to AT&T Park.

Barry Zito (1-1, 2.21) takes the bump for the Black and Orange, looking to bounce back from him first loss of the season in his last outing against the Brewers, giving up three runs on eight hits in six innings of work, though those three earned runs were a season high for the former Cy Young winner.

The D-backs will send out Joe Saunders (2-2, 2.50), who got rocked by the Cardinals in his last outing for six earned runs in 3.1 innings pitched, along with three homers. Arizona has now lost eight of their last 11 games, hoping Saunders can earn the D-backs a series win.

First pitch is set for 1:10 pm PT with coverage on CSN Bay Area and KNBR 680 AM.
