Freddy Sanchez Injury Update: Shoulder Stiffness Could Push Giants Debut Back

San Francisco Giants second baseman Freddy Sanchez must be getting sick and tired of the word 'setback' when it comes to his return from shoulder surgery, but unfortunately he suffered another after complaining of tightness in his right shoulder, possibly pushing his reutrn to the club back even further.

Sanchez was scheduled to DH for Single-A San Jose Wednesday night before the rains came in and washed out the game, and is yet to play any second base in his rehab assignment at all.

Skipper Bruce Bochy and the Giants medical staff had an 18 day 'road map' to his recovery and return to the Blak and Orange, though that might have to be pushed back a but now. He was scheduled to return May 11 against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
