Giants Vs. Phillies, MLB Preview: Matt Cain, Cliff Lee Headline Wednesday's Series Finale

After trying the series at one apiece Tuesday night, the San Francisco Giants and Philadelphia Phillies will square off in the finale of their three game set with a pair of aces on the hill in Matt Cain and Cliff Lee at AT&T Park.

Cain (1-0, 3.00 ERA) made the most of his opening day start against the Pirates last Friday after tossing a one-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts and no walks in what is arguably his best start at AT&T Park in his career. It was the third one hitter, fifth shutout, and 14th complete game of his career.

As for Lee (0-1, 3.46 ERA) who took his first loss of the season against the Mets in his last start, He''l look to earn his first win of the season, while trying to ock up only the fourth series at AT&T Park for Philadelphia since 2000. Lee owns a 3-0 record and 0.72 ERA in three starts at AT&T during the regular season, though his most memorable here was Game 1 of the NLDS while pitching to Texas, getting shelled for seven runs (six earned) and eight hits over 4.2 innings.

Shane Victorino has pushed his hitting steak to 10 games after a double on Tuesday night, though Pablo Sandoval one-upped him with his 11th straight game with a hit after his 2-4 night. Keep an eye on these guys tonight as well.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. PT this evening, with coverage on CSN Bay Area and KNBR 680 AM in and around the Bay. TCN and 1210 WPHT will have coverage in the Philadelphia area.
