Giants vs. Dodgers, Starting Lineups: The Constant (Bum)Garner looking for Lucky W Number 13

The San Francisco Giants have already gained some ground in the NL Wild Card race this afternoon with St. Louis’ loss to the Mets, giving the G-Men a bit more hope for a possible playoff spot. They’ll send out Madison Bumgarner tonight, looking to get his 13th win of the season and his record above .500 for the first time all season.

Bummy has six wins over his last eight starts, giving up only four earned runs over his last four times on the bump. He’s 19 K’s away from a 200 strikeout season, and has been on of the best pitchers in baseball over the last few months.

As for the lineup, Justin Christian earned himself another start after his 3-4 night last night, batting leadoff and playing center field. Aubrey Huff and Pablo Sandoval will both be in the lineup as well, with Huff batting fifth, just ahead of Brandon Belt. Brandon Crawford will be at third, while Chris Stewart will be the backstop tonight for Bumgarner.
