Giants vs. Rockies: Ryan Vogelsong Looking for First Win in Five Starts

The San Francisco Giants are in the Mile High city to take on the Rockies for a four game set, fresh off their sweep of the Padres at AT&T. They still haven’t been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs quite yet, though the Braves and Diamonbacks don’t look to be slowing down any time soon. Nevertheless, the show must go on, and the G-Men are looking to get a serious W streak rolling…

As for the lineup skipper Bruce Bochy is keeping it the same as Wednesday, aside from Ryan Vogelsong taking the bump. He’s currently lost he last five starts in a row, which mirrored with his first half of the season seems like a train wreck. But taking a closer look, it’s obviously the offense, with a total of four runs of combined support in those five losses.
