Before Tuesday’s game with the San Diego Padres Miguel Tejada had never had a single start at second base in his entire carrer in Major League Baseball. He did so admirably in his first crack at it, so much so that skipper Bruce Bochy has decided to put him there again Wednesday night.
Tejada’s bat has been getting hotter, going 2-4 last night and having much better at bats then he was just a few weeks ago. The Giants will use the same outfield as last night, as well as the same infield. The only difference is Chris Stewart will be behind the dish to catch Madison Bumgarner.
