Giants vs. Reds, Starting Lineups: Belt, Crawford Earn Starts Against Reds Saturday

The San Francisco Giants don’t fall short in many one run games, but unfortunately did on Friday at the hands of former Giant Edgar Renteria and the Cincinnati Reds. But today is a new day, and the Giants are ready to earn another road victory and tie this three game series at one game a piece.

Many players who played yesterday will not be in the starting lineup due to the long game Friday as Andres Torres will start in center in lieu of Aaron Rowand, Brandon Belt will be at first instead of Aubrey Huff, while Brandon Crawford gets the start at shortstop as Mike Fontenot will grab some pine meat. Nate Schierholtz will be in left to give Cody Ross some time off, while Chris Stewart will be behind the dish to catch Madison Bumgarner instead of Eli Whiteside.

The two, three and four hitters will all remain the same as yesterday with Jeff Keppinger, Carlos Beltran and Pablo Sandoval playing second, right field, and third respectfully.
