2011 Home Run Derby Tweets: Reactions To Robinson Cano's Victory

Well the 2011 Home Run Derby in complete, and the New York Yankees Robinson Cano took home the title with 32 total home runs, along with a Derby record 12 in the final round against Red Sox slugger Adrian Gonzalez. There were lots and lots of compelling tweets from a plethora of All-Stars and folks in attendance, lets take a look at some of them:

Obviously, Cano was feeling it before he even got to the plate in that final round.

Houston Astro Hunter Pence was apparently having some hearing issues after Cano batted:

I bet all those giant cracks of the bat were ringing through Chase Field, especially with the roof closed. 

Texas Rangers starting pitcher C.J. Wilson had horrible flashbacks with every Cano homer to the 2011 American League Championship:

The Los Angeles Dodgers' Matt Kemp had this to say after Cano's performance:

Maybe next year you can hit more than two homers and not wait until you had eight outs left to do so. That being said he's still an MVP candidate though, definitely can't hate on that.
